What We Do

Y-Pulse provides credible insight about what is on the minds of kids, young adults and the foodservice professionals who feed them about food, nutrition, promotion and marketing.

  • Young Consumer Insights: Y-Pulse research is focused on food and beverage and the relationships the consumers of tomorrow have with what they eat and drink.
  • Foodservice Professional Insight: Customized professional panels of foodservice operators in the education market — elementary, secondary schools, colleges and universities can be tapped to evaluate new products, promotion concepts and trends.
  • Innovation Resources: Advisory panels, on-site immersion and innovation labs can be crafted for specific food marketers to give them of-the-moment and long term insight.

How it Works

Y-Pulse has a unique approach to collecting high volume qualitative research that feeds marketing and innovation professionals the insight they need to make informed decisions based on what their customers want.

Types of Studies Available Through Y-Pulse:

Proprietary Studies: Custom crafted studies for the exclusive and confidential use of individual clients.

Multi-Client Studies: During the course of the year, Y-Pulse may field a series of multi–client studies for a small group of non-competing companies on a subject of common interest. Results of these studies are for the exclusive and confidential use of the study sponsors.

Sponsorship of Industry Studies: Y-Pulse industry surveys focus on topics of interest to food industry professionals during the course of the year. Sponsors of these studies receive first release of results and have a choice of receiving recognition as a sponsor of the studies when they are published.
